Hypothetical backtest, 2018-01-02 → 2026-07-31, net of estimated costs. Not actual trading results.
Three steps between you and the rankings.
We rank 7 indexes daily
After every market close, our proprietary algorithm re-ranks each stock in the Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, Dow 30, Russell 2000, ASX 200, Nikkei 225 and Global ADRs.
You see the top stocks — and why
Open any index for its ranked leaderboard. Tap a stock for the full picture: what the company does, market cap, trailing and forward P/E and EPS, next earnings date and dividend yield.
Optional: Autopilot trades it
Connect your own Alpaca brokerage account and Autopilot rebalances it toward the strategy's targets for you. US indexes only, paper-trading mode at launch, cancel anytime.
One algorithm. Seven indexes.
Every index below is ranked daily inside the app. Multiples are the full-period backtest result for each index's strategy, same methodology, same period.

Backtest, 2018-01-02 → 2026-07-31, $2,000 starting capital, net of estimated costs. Hypothetical results — not actual trading, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
Everything in the app.
Index leaderboards
Each of the 7 indexes ranked top to bottom by the algorithm's profit score, refreshed after every close. The leaders are always one tap away.
Stock info tab
What the company actually does, plus market cap, trailing and forward P/E, trailing and forward EPS, next earnings date and dividend yield — per stock, in one place.
Interactive backtest
Scrub the strategy's equity curve and inspect every rotation since 2018 — what it rotated into, what it rotated out of, and when. Nothing hidden.
Updated daily
New rankings land after market close, every trading day, across all seven indexes. Yesterday's leaders don't linger.
The Nasdaq 100 strategy — the good and the bad.
Full-period backtest, 2018-01-02 → 2026-07-31, $2,000 starting capital, net of estimated costs.
A ×238 backtest that, at its worst point, was down 43.7% from peak. Both numbers come out of the same backtest, so we show both. If you had followed this strategy, you would have lived through that drawdown — and 148 stock rotations along the way.
That's why the app doesn't just show a return figure. The backtest screen lets you walk the whole curve and inspect every rotation: what the strategy bought, what it sold, and when. A strategy you can't stomach is a strategy you won't stick with.
Current rankings and holdings are available inside the app. Backtested performance is hypothetical, does not represent actual trading, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
Simple pricing. No tiers to decode.

Straight answers.
Is Top Stocks financial advice?
No. Top Stocks provides market data and algorithmic rankings for informational purposes only. Nothing in the app or on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and no adviser-client relationship is created. If you want personalized advice, talk to a licensed investment adviser.
How is the ranking made?
By a proprietary algorithm — the formula itself stays private. What we make public is the outcome, in full: each index's complete backtest since 2018, with the equity curve, the drawdowns and every single stock rotation shown in the app.
What is Autopilot?
An optional $99/month subscription that connects to your own Alpaca brokerage account and automatically rebalances it toward the strategy's targets on the US-listed indexes. It launches in paper-trading mode — no real money moves until live trading is enabled. Your Alpaca account stays yours; you can disconnect it at any time.
Can I cancel Autopilot?
Anytime, from the web portal. Cancellation stops future rebalances and future billing, and the service runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't offer partial-month refunds.
Which markets are covered?
Seven indexes: Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, Dow Jones 30, Russell 2000, ASX 200 (Australia), Nikkei 225 (Japan) and Global ADRs. Rankings cover all seven; Autopilot operates on the US-listed ones only.
